ARRIVAL TO YOUR MASSAGE:
New first time clients are asked to arrive about 10 minutes early to become oriented to the space and to provide time to do a more in depth verbal intake. We recommend established clients should arrive 5 minutes before their scheduled time. Since sessions adhere to a specific time schedule, early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience. If late arrival is inevitable, your service may be shortened in order to keep on schedule and the original treatment time will be charged. Life happens and so do late arrivals from time to time, if the schedule allows we do our best to give you the full time you booked within a 10 minute window.
The front door to the building is kept locked during sessions and will be unlocked for you no later than 10 minutes before your scheduled time.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Please provide at least a 24 hour notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a treatment. This gives me enough time to fill the slot. A reminder email and confirmation text will be sent, please respond so we can be sure to be on the same page. Cancelling within 24 hours will incur a fee of 50% of the session rate (or the full minimum rate for sliding scale clients). Please try and give me as much notice as you can.
NO SHOW POLICY:
Clients who cancel on the same day or do not show up for their appointments without cancelling will be charged the full session fee.
TIPPING:
We do not accept tips, all pricing is a flat rate with no additional fees, service charges, or gratuities added. The best tip you can give is to refer your friends, family and healthcare providers about the work I do.
TREATING MINORS:
We are happy to work with people under the age of 18. If the client is younger than 18 years old, North Carolina law requires a guardian to be present in the treatment room during the session.
PRIVACY POLICY:
Your massage therapy records are kept in the strictest confidence by this clinic. All client records are kept in a secure place and are not shown to anyone. Your records will not be released to third parties, including health care providers and insurance companies without your written consent. Records may be surrendered if required by law.
HEALTH: We are trusting that everyone self monitor their health and to please reschedule appointments if illness occurs. The treatment room has a hepa air filter running before, after, and during each session. The room is fully sanitized between each client, hand washing is done thoroughly before and after each session, and all linens used are clean for each session. We are happy to wear masks during the session per client request.
CONDUCT:
We take seriously your safety and autonomy and we expect the same in return. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Suggestive comments, sexual innuendos, or touching of the massage therapist in an inappropriate way, will result in the termination of the massage session and the client will not be allowed to return for further massages. The full fee will be expected.
